Anne Laval

Born at the foot of a palm tree around February 22nd 1979, I grew up here and there. After the plastic arts university of Strasbourg, I joined the illustration workshop of the decorative arts. Today, I draw, sew, paint and tinker beside the radiator. I raise a hairy rabbit, a herd of insects, a teapot with legs, a melancholic penguin and a lot of other things that are a bit cumbersome, but very endearing… I like to juggle between painting, collage, computer graphics and colored pencils; the press, postcards, publishing and personal scribbles…
